Morelands On A Bridge

Capilano Bridge 2018

Families are the compass that guide us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter.

Today, I am going to talk about my family`s adventure in Vancouver.

If you like rivers, heights and nature, then this is the place for you. It is called Capilano Suspension Bridge. We first walked across this 459-foot-long bridge last year, when we visited Canada! It was awesome. My mom is super afraid of heights, so she was all the way on the other side of the bridge while we were trying to catch up with her. It was so funny, We saw a long river rushing 230 feet below us and beautiful fern carpenters and lush fern trees. They are everywhere, and they are so pretty. After you cross the bridge, there is a coffee shop that has the best hot chocolate, ever, with whipped cream on the top. To be honest, I have had many hot chocolates, but this one is the best! It is goodness in a cup. After we got hot chocolate, we went through tons of tall trees with lots of cool bridges through them.

Then, we went back to the main place where the bridge started and followed a sign that said, “Cliff Walk”. It literally was a cliff walk. It was like a skinny walkway attached to the side of a mountain. It was really high, and there was a glass square platform that you could walk on, and when you look under you, it is so scary because you can see how high you are, but it also is really cool. This was one of my favorite things we did on this trip.

Next, we drove to a cute part of town in Deep Cove. It had lights attached to all the trees, and there was a beautiful view of the ocean. It was dark and raining outside. We got out of the car and went to this sweet little bakery called Honey Doughnuts and Goodies and the address is 4373 Gallant Ave . We went in and got some honey donuts. They didn’t even have a hole in the middle of them, but it was really good.

Best Park In Canada

Also, we went to Cates Park which is located in the 4000 block of Dollarton Highway, east of the Second Narrows Bridge. That was fun because it was pouring rain. We went to this lifeguard stand that was on the beach, and we got some funny pictures of me and my siblings standing on it! I give this place a 10 out of 10. I love it so much I want to go back for my birthday.

I like cheer and dance. My favorite style of dance is hip-hop. I love living part-time in Wyoming and part-time in California. Me and three of my other siblings are homeschooled. I enjoy being with my siblings because we laugh so much, and we care for each other.
